Artwork Requirements

We require print-ready, finished artwork submitted for all IMAGE Panel jobs. (If you are unable to get the artwork ready to print, we are happy to connect you with a graphic designer who has successfully worked on these projects with us many times. (Email us)

Resolution: high-resolution image, 150 dots per inch (DPI) at minimum (300 or 400 dpi preferred) at full size of the image. Image resolutions below the minimum may appear blurry and show undesirable pixelation.

Size: Allow 1.5 times the panel thickness on all sides of the image to account for the fabric wrapping of the panel.

For example, for a 2″ thick panel, allow 3 inches beyond the panel face edge on all sides. E.g. For a 16 x 48 panel with a 2” panel thickness, add 3 inches per side, and the artwork size should be 22” x 54”. If the panel is 4 inches thick, the artwork would be 28” x 60″ (see example layout below)

Formats: Preferred formats accepted are Illustrator vector files CS5 or higher, InDesign CS5 or higher, or image formats such as jpg, psd, tiff, or pdf (PDF/X-1:2001) files.

Color conversion: Convert all images artwork to CMYK. If your artwork includes custom colors that must be matched, we use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) for color referencing. When creating your files, please specify the PMS spot colors to be matched.

Text: Please convert all fonts to outlines or curves for images with text. 

File delivery: Please name the files clearly to match the files with the project properly!

Example of artwork layout: The example below shows artwork submitted to us for a finished IMAGE Panel size of 36" x 24" x 2". The dotted line shows the crop mark for the panel face. The part of the artwork outside of the dotted line is the extra 3" we need to wrap the fabric around a 2" thick panel. Note: We require 1.5 times the panel thickness on all sides to properly wrap the IMAGE Panel, as mentioned above in the artwork requirements.

The face size shown above is 36" x 24". The print size submitted to us was 42" x 30".
