Our custom diffusers are made in sizes up to 48" x 96" with two radius orientations for wall or ceiling mounting. (Additionally, we offer stocked Barrel or Pyramid Diffuser 4-Packs.)

Choose the appropriate diffuser for the acoustical issue in your room—Standard Diffusor, Low Frequency Diffusor, or Reflective Diffusor.

Diffusers come in a standard textured white finish or fabric-wrapped. Wall diffusers include a two-part clip mounting system. Ceiling diffusers have a 15/16" flange for direct ceiling mount, or to lay-in-grid.

We can provide barrel or pyramid-shaped diffusers.

Before you start:

• Have your acoustical spec on hand for reference.

• Note if design plans call for vertical or horizontal installation.
• Review included parts included for your Diffuser size:
  L-Clips, Z-Bars, Pop Rivets, and #8 Tek Screws 
• Review all installation instructions and drawings.

Important: Top clips receive Z-Bar mounting. The top of each Z-Bar should be 1/8" below the desired diffuser height. Be sure to allow 1" minimum clearance above the top of each Z-Bar for L-Clip attachment.

Instructions:

Step 1

1. Mark the location where you want to place the Diffusers. 
2. Mark the perimeter edges and the location of the L-Clips. L-Clips should be at a minimum a 1/2" from the edges, and when using more than two clips per side, space them evenly. Please take a look at the suggestions above. 

Step 2

1. Align top L-Clips so the 3/4" leg is flush with the edge of the diffuser. 
2. Using the L-Clip as a template, mark and drill (2) 1/8" holes from the top down.
3. Insert pop-rivets from the top down and rivet L-Clip to the diffuser.

1. Mark the wall at the bottom/side edge of your Diffuser
2. Install L-Clip bracket at 1/8 of an inch higher than the bottom edge of the marking for the diffuser.

Step 3

1. Attach Z-Bars for top L-Clips to the wall using appropriate-sized fasteners (not included) to ensure they are aligned with the top L-Clips on the diffuser. Note: The top of each Z-Bar should be 1/8" below the desired diffuser height. Be sure to allow 1" minimum clearance above the top of each Z-Bar for L-Clip attachment. 
2. Attach bottom and side L-Clips to the wall using appropriate-sized fasteners (not included). Note: L-Clips should be 1/8" inside the exterior edge of the diffuser.
3. Install the diffuser by dropping the top L-Clips onto the Z-Bar so they are fully engaged. 
4. Be sure the exterior edge of the diffuser overlaps and hides the bottom and side L-Clips.
5. Attach the diffuser to the side and bottom L-Clips with #8 x 3/4" Tek Screw (included).
