Suspended Ceiling Mounting with Cloud Rings

Cloud Ring mounting is a suspended ceiling mounting option for custom acoustical ceiling treatment.

For this installation method, we create hardened resin spots near the edges on the back of the panel (see diagrams below) and pre-attach metal mounting plates (image 1).

In the field, as part of the installation, the remaining Cloud Ring hardware (ring and small bracket) must be attached with with two (2)  #8  3/4" Tek screws to each mounting plate. (image 2)

Mounting Instructions

1. Install the Cloud Rings to the mounting plates.
Use two (2) tek #8 x 3/4" screws (included) to attach the Cloud Ring with the Ring Bracket to the metal Mounting Plate.

2. Use appropriate hanging material (such as aircraft cable or equivalent) to suspend the panel safely from the ceiling at the desired height(s)—secure one end to the Cloud Ring and the other to the ceiling structure.

3. Examples of panel sizes and approximate mounting plate locations are shown below. Placement can vary due to custom sizes.
